Hi there! I’m Valerie, author of women’s Christian fiction, mom to three college-aged boys, and happily married to my husband, Steve, for 23 years. Writing heartfelt and uplifting stories is my passion—stories that I hope resonate with you and comfort you knowing we aren’t alone in the struggles we face.

My desire is to encourage women who may feel a bit lost or unsure of themselves to go after their dreams, whether they’re newly discovered or have been tucked away for a while. I believe that with faith and trust in God, we can all rise to the calling and the tug we feel in our hearts.

My passions center around my faith and love for my family. You’ll find me spending my mornings at my kitchen stool in devotion and prayer, or at my most favorite place, our lake house in the Ozarks.

Still with the spirit of my high school cheerleader days, I absolutely love cheering on women as they embark on new adventures by stepping out in faith and chasing their God-given dreams! I hope my writing can inspire, encourage, and uplift you on your journey.
